Template Tips & Techniques Guide

  1. Open the editor by clicking on the editing icon.
  2. If you want to add a row to the table, place your cursor in the row that is before or after the row you wish to add. For example, perhaps you have typed in all of your events and you discover that there is a new event to be added between the first and second rows. Place your cursor anywhere in the first row. Then using the Table menu, click on Row and then Click on Insert Row After. You will see that a new row has been inserted between the first and second rows. Now let’s copy the preformatted text into the cells. You must do this for each cell. You cannot copy text from the two columns at the same time. Highlight the text in the left column and copy it using either the copy option on the Edit menu or CTRL-C. then paste the text into the left column of the new row by clicking the paste option on the Edit menu or using CTRL-V.
