Tables can be a handy tool for displaying tabular data and for placing pictures on a page with accompanying text. In order to place a table on your page follow the steps below:

Within the Editor window, place your cursor at the spot where you want to place the table. |

Click on the Table menu item and select Insert table or click on the Table button. |

| You will see a grid where you can select the number of columns and rows for your table. In the grid shown, the user has selected two columns and two rows. | ||

When you click off the grid you will see that your table has been added. It will look similar to the first picture at the right. You can click and drag one of the “handles” to expand the table as shown in the second picture to the right. |
