Once you have requested a template as described above, our VIS Assistant Administrator will do the following:
- Create a subdomain using your chapter name, or an alternate of your choosing. The subdomain name will be something like this: chaptername.californiadar.org.
- Enter your chapter name and location in the heading portion of the website.
- Create credentials for your webmaster so she can enter content information on the site.
- Create your website menu with the required content items and the optional items you have chosen.
- Enter metatag information so search engines can find your site.
- Notify you that the template has been created and pass along your credentials.
- Create a temporary public landing page which will appear until your site is approved by NSDAR VIS.
